Arun Tanksali
Arun’s passion is for harnessing technology for the greater good of society. He is currently the CTO of Panamax, a fintech company. He remains an active engineer, developer and product manager. He has worked in the telecom and IT industries for over 30 years. He was previously the Founder and CTO of Nearex, a micropayments pioneer. He was earlier the CTO of Mahindra Comviva and, before that, the Co-Founder and CTO of Jataayu Software. He and his teams’ products have won many awards over the years for innovation and excellence. Products designed and developed by his teams, in India, have reached over 100 million users globally. He is a Senior Member in IEEE and is the Chair of IEEE TEMS India and the Treasurer of the TEM Society. He is also the founder and trustee of SocIT Foundation, an NGO which focuses on using technology for the good of society. He volunteers in Rotary and is a member of the Tech Team of RI District 3192.
